Tashi has been in my life for 20 years. She has been my go-to person for eyebrows and hair for as long as I can remember. Whether I keep my cut/color the same or decide to switch it up, Tashi is always prepared, and my hair always comes out perfect. I'm always happy on appointment day because I know I will be greeted with a big smile, and I will get to hang out with my friend while getting my hair done. My friend and owner of Shear Madness, Tashi, completely transformed my look after my visit yesterday! I had not had a haircut in almost a year! I let Tashi take the wheel! Her amazing vision and expertise was over the top! I went in with way too dark box colored hair that was much too long! She worked wonders with amazing coloring and bialage and the cutest long Bob! I feel like a new woman, and I look 10 years younger! Tashi is not only a professional, she is kind hearted, happy spirited and positive! Thank you for an amazing experience! I had an appointment with Gina early June and was very disappointed with my haircut. She had informed me that she was not able to blow dry my hair so naturally she could not see the outcome of my haircut and if anything needed to be fixed. It was a mess. She rushed to cut my hair..I was in and out in 15 minutes. When I got home, I had to shower as there was hair all over me..She did not cover me well enough with the cape. I struggle to blow dry my hair, that's how bad my hair was cut. I was charged $41.50 for a lousy haircut. I even brought a picture in to shoe her what I wanted. Not sure I will return....nameless!!

Best Salon I have ever been to in 50 years. I am 61 and have been a client of theirs for 11 years, even after moving to North Andover 5 years ago. My hairdresser recently passed away and I had been to a few salons. They didn't cut my hair how I wanted at all. My daughter recommended Shear Madness. Five Stars! I just moved to Medford, and went to Shear Madness because it was close to my apartment. As I was unsure how to get there, I left plenty of time to find the salon and park, which meant I was about fifteen minutes early for my appointment. Luckily, it wasn't busy, and my stylist Linda took me right away. She did an amazing job with my hair; she cut it exactly to my length and style, and I have gotten several compliments on my haircut in the last week.
